Sakura was established in 2009 as the first Japanese restaurant in Portsmouth. Booking was easy through open table, however it didn’t book us for the bottomless brunch I was expecting to be booked for! However Delaneys were very accommodating! Our waitress Dolly was outstanding and made our experience very enjoyable

We had a late lunch with two friends and neither of us had eaten at the Birdham before. We were all pleasantly surprised. We were greeted with a friendly smile and shown to our table. We were offered to sit in the restaurant which was quiet but roomy and bright. Our drinks were brought whilst we pondered over the great choice of menu. Food arrived on hot plates and all dishes were plentiful and tasty. All staff were attentive without being intrusive. Lovely dining experience thank you.
