Best Fun Restaurants in McLean

Our food and ambiance was wonderful. Our server was good until she asked if we wanted dessert, then informed us we had to be out of our table in 10 minutes for another party. If we had a heads up, we would have gladly rushed along, but every step of the way the server told us “take your time, enjoy”. We got booted promptly at 7:00 and brought our drinks that we had ordered before we knew we had 10 minute to order/drink them/order dessert/be gone, to the bar. The entire time we sat at the bar, the bartender was giving us unsettling looks/gesturing to another server their confusion as to why we were sitting at the bar DRINKING COCKTAILS. Once we finished our drinks and started to get our coats on, one bar stool was not completely pushed in under the bar, and our waitress physically kicked it under the bar with anger and said something under her breath. SO BIZARRE! The evening was great until it wasn’t. I have never experienced something like this and left feeling very disappointed and unsettled. Please do better.

Maria our waiter is EXCELLENT made my husband feel super special on his bday to go with his Wren custom card! Staff and ambiance is amazing! The food is the best! Can’t wait to bring our family and friends next time!

Great food. Great drinks. Dave the bartender/waiter was terrific. We got several tacos and swapped. All were amazing. Tuna appetizer was delicious. Decor and ambience perfect for a date or party.

It was 32 degrees outside, but it was warm and welcoming inside! Capri Ristorante is your local Italian restaurant that you can come on week nights casually dressed. Yet it is a sophisticated, classy restaurant to bring a first date on a Friday or Saturday night. It was my sister's birthday, so my husband and I brought her to her favorite Italian restaurant, CAPRI. Each of us agreed that we had the BEST meal - each of us ordered the Rockfish with Shrimp and vegetables (which we done perfectly). Every bite was delicious. I mentioned the noise level - only because we were seated right beside four seniors who had to talk very loudly to be heard - by everyone. But, Bless their hearts, they were having fun. We will all be there someday. To end a perfect meal and time at Capri, the waiter brought a piece of cake with a candle for her birthday. Very thoughtful. Excellent all around.

We loved our dinner at Nue! The food was delicious and fresh. We got the family style new years dinner menu and it was perfect. The manager and waitstaff were so kind and friendly— really added to the experience. There is also a fun dice game for new years and my friends won a prize! All in all the experience felt great and we will definitely be back.
