When it comes to taste-buds tingling cuisines, Burma has a lot to offer. It has been a passionate dream for Burma-born owners Kalvin and Poe to open a Burmese restaurant to be able to share their culinary culture. That dream came true in 2019 when Top Burmese opened as a virtual takeout only restaurant from a commissary kitchen in NW Portland. Due to its authenticity, made to order, home-style cooking, and Burmese hospitality, Top Burmese traditional and modern Burmese dishes became so popular effectively evangelizing the masses to become Burmese Food fans. You might also find scallops still in their shells, Oregon pork in the style of Braciole, and popovers I learned to make from my mother-in-law, Terry, because the Laurents family makes those every Christmas morning... beef tartare, sea urchin, caviar, etc too.
