Can't beat the ambiance in the restaurant, but service was pretty slow, but who's in a hurry when you're enjoying great beer?! Whoever created the Stone Fireside Magic brown ale deserves a big fat raise and an award for the best ale I've ever tasted in my life. - SSteveSan Diego •33 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoA bit disappointed. Ordered lasagna, personal fave. It arrived barely hot enough. A[peared that it wasn't cooked to order. because the sauce on top was hotter than the lasagna underneath. So I guess it is precooked in large pans ahead of time, then cut and covered in more sauce. I could have waited till the server came back around to check and sent it back, but decided not to wait and just started eating. It was competent, not memorable.More infoBuona Forchetta - San MarcosPrice: Moderate• Italian• San Marcos•4.4

- EElizabethvipSan Diego •41 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 27, 2024We had been to Brickman's for dinner a few days earlier and had an amazing truffle burger and salad (we both had the same) followed by a chocolate chip cookie desert that was fabulous. So we decided to try brunch. This is a no frills menu of all your favorite things, burger, pancakes, a twist on eggs benedict but my husbands eyes widened at the size of the breakfast burrito which was fabulous and I couldn't have been happier with my smoked salmon toast on sourdough bread. It was scrumptious. Add to that a perfect peach bellini (not too peach and not too sweet) and we call this brunch a success!More infoBrickmans Restaurant & Bar (formerly The Grill)Price: Moderate• American• San Marcos•4.5
