The Carriage House Restaurant in the F.M. Kirby Carriage House is open for Pre-Performance and Post-Matinee dining. Two Course Prix Fixe lunch and Three Course Prix Fixe dinners are available two and half hours prior to most Main Stage Performances and after all Matinee Performances at the Paper Mill Playhouse.     This little gem is perfect before a show at the Paper Mill, but also for anytime really. Food was great, and while the servers worked hard, their timing could be a little better. Main course being served before appetizers were cleared, etc. other than that little hiccup, the service is great. Overall, it was a great experience.

    A cascade of flowers and the mural paintings really grabs up when you walk in. The service is friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The kale fritters were so crunchy delicious that we were enchanted. The grilled shrimp were juicy and spicy. All the serving bowls, platters are handcrafted and unique. The meal was so well spiced and two entrees were enough for 3 people. The mango ice cream cubes were a revelation! Def worth a return visit!
