Best Fun Restaurants in Golden Gate

We can always count on an excellent dining experience at Tommy Bahama. From the terrific personable service from our Server Amy M to the delicious cuisine. The ambiance is also very nice and upbeat. I ordered a full rack of ribs which was huge…more like a rack and a half. It was very tasty and meaty and not fatty. It is the more traditional “fall off the bone” ribs. Although I do prefer the chew off the bone…I call those “fighters”. I always order my ribs very charred. These were prepared perfectly. As a side I ordered their fresh cut fries (well done) also very good. The barbecue sauce was very flavorful and had just the right amount of kick. It was such a huge order I could only eat a half a rack and took the other full rack home. They always brought their excellent bread out with delicious cinnamon butter. When they didn’t we asked Amy if they had their famous bread and butter. For some reason, it’s now by request only yet still no charge. Just as good as always. Another great dining experience!

Delicious meal from the early bird menu at Ocean Prime. A lot of value was in the 3 course scrumptious meal for $65. I say a value because each course was 10 rating by my husband and me. You can’t beat the tender 8 ounce filet or the delicious 6 layer carrot cake! Always our go to meal but our friends with us always go for the awesome scallops. Salad and lobster bisque were perfect too. Server Mark was excellent, along with back up waiter, Joey. They made the evening just perfect. We look forward to another celebratory meal at Ocean Prime.

Food was awesome as per usual however it seemed like the portion that I got of spaghetti was cut in half. They are now charging $2.00 for more dinner rolls which I had no problem with because they are sooooo good. I got de-cafe coffee no refills and the cup was only half full. They were super busy so that was probably why.

A wonderful French Bistro in Naples FL. I was a bit worried when we pulled in as there were no other customers. I got a bit more worried when we were greeted and told we were the only customers for the evening. During conversation it came up that the off season (July in SW FL) had been brutal for them for some reason. It most definitely was not because of the food or the service. Due to the low volume of customers they didn't have their full menu. They did however have one of my all time favorite dishes, a coq au vin that had been braising for hours. It was excellent. extremely flavorful, and perfect fall off the bone chicken. My wife was able to get her preferred dish a wonderful Dover Sole. Unfortunately their dessert choices were extremely limited, much to my disappointment as I was really looking forward to a crème brûlée. Overall I highly recommend the restaurant and will definitely be back. If you have some thing specific you want on their menu during the off season, it might be worth giving them a call in advance so they can make sure they have it on hand. The great news is during the off season you will not have a problem getting a reservation (I'm told it can be more difficult in season), however you might have limited choices from their menu.
