Located in historic Blagden Alley in D.C.'s Shaw neighborhood since 2015, The Dabney continues to pay tribute to the wonderful farmers, watermen, and purveyors of the mid-Atlantic region whom provide some of the best and most unique products in the country. The food, as always, was absolutely delicious—each dish crafted with care and bursting with flavor. What truly elevated our evening was the outstanding service we received from Nebil. His professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine friendliness made us feel truly valued as guests. Nebil anticipated our needs effortlessly, provided thoughtful recommendations, and ensured everything was perfect from start to finish. It’s rare to encounter such exceptional service, and it made an already great meal even more memorable. Filomena, once again, proved why it remains our favorite dining spot!

    From the moment we stepped in and to the moment we left, we were such well taken cared for. SHIA thought of every little detail. Not only was the food amazing but it truly was the people that made the difference. You could feel the warmth and genuineness shine through every person we interacted with. It was a cozy and intimate night we won't ever forget.

    Scallops and shrimp entree was light (2/plate). Was expecting a few more scallops and/or shrimp on my plate, but quality was excellent. Other entrees I saw being brought to other tables were generous portions (chicken parm). Appetizer was very good. Complementary dessert for birthdays and anniversaries, which was unexpected and excellent. Very nice ambiance. If it had been warmer, we would have been able to enjoy our anniversary dinner with the plastic linings retracted. Many entree selections available from the menu. Will certainly visit again,
