Best Fun Restaurants in King City

My husband and I are thoroughly pleased with everything we ordered. My favourite appy was the Franco Fries. Did not know what to expect but this was such a great starter with just the right combination of savoury and sweet! The shoestring fries were crispy and cooked perfectly. We also had the calamari, very tender with just a touch of light batter on the outside. This was also quite good by the way but the Franco Fries upstaged the calamari! I had the short ribs as my main entree and wow this was so tender! Hubby ordered a pasta bolognese dish, I did not try it so I can't say either way, but my husband thought it was very good. Panna cotta dessert was sooooo good. We were so full we split it and Im so glad we did. That panna cotta was big enough for sharing. I loved the subtle sweetness and the cookie crumble on top with the fruit compote. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would return again. Our waiter (I'm sorry I can't recall his name) was attentive, pleasant, and quick. Overall we had a fantastic experience.

First time in this place, super experience with the food and environment, especially our server, a boy with curly hair, he brought us the ginger cake for my boyfriend’s birth, He's got a great sense of humor. Really amazing place to go

I grew up in Newmarket and this might be the best meal I have ever had in town. I enjoyed the Lobster Bisque to start with the Pistachio Crusted Lamb as my main and both were delicious. The food is aggressively seasoned and didn’t lack in any flavour as far as I am concerned. The hotel and restaurant space are beautiful. It’s nice to see someone took the time to renovate a historic building and give it new life. The Overlea is 10/10 and I will definitely be coming back!

I was pleasantly surprised with State and Main. Nice atmosphere, good food. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Good location with loads of parking space. Recommendation: reduce number of high tables to give customers more space and room to feel comfortable.

My son and I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at the Postmark Hotel today. We were pleasantly welcomed. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. My son's Homestead breakfast was hot and delicious. My pancakes we light, fluffy and delicious. Unfortunately they were cold! My waiter offered to have new pancakes made however with waste in mind, I asked him to just microwave them for 30 seconds... The pancakes were less cold. Oh well, our breakfast together wasn't ruined Well go back. I'll order avocado toast.
