Best Healthy Restaurants in Captiva Island

First time eating at a Tommy Bahama. We got The coconut shrimp as it is their signature dish and it did not disappoint. There was live music and the young man was good but it added to the noise level making it hard to converse. My husband got the grouper he said it was the best he ever had. My son got the red snapper. He said the same. The crab bisque is outstanding. Very lively atmosphere. My only complaint was the noise level. Our waiter Josh was fun and came and sang along with me at the table to a Tom Petty song the musician was singing to. We will definitely go back.

Wonderful evening all around! The food/drinks were excellent as well as the presentation and service.

My wife and I had dinner at Sails and sat at the bar. If you haven’t dined at Sails and sat at the bar, it is a wonderful experience and it is our favorite place in the restaurant to dine when there are just the two of us. Our server, Yesar, was outstanding and made the dinner even more enjoyable. He made sure everything was handled perfectly. We shared the Grilled Octopus and not only was the Octopus cooked perfectly, but the serving size was more than enough for two people. Our main courses were the Lobster Ravioli and Linguine/Clams and were both excellent. While the food was outstanding, the martinis perfect, but even the check-in was special. Such a friendly and welcoming process. Our thanks to all of those at Sails who made our evening special.

We had a great dinner at The Green Flash! It was my fiancée birthday. They comped a dessert when I told them. She had Veal Zurich and really enjoyed it. I had stuffed shrimp. Six shrimp with crab and breadcrumbs stuffing. If you’ve had this before you know it’s a small mound of stuffing on a butterflied shrimp, but very tasty! The dessert we chose was a chocolate mousse. Wonderful! Whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, and mousse!

Steaks were excellent! Try the Brussels sprouts. Very tasty! Home made ice cream is a treat for dessert as well!
