The Woollen Mills has been one of the most iconic buildings and businesses in Dublin for over one hundred years, and to have taken over this site is a serious privilege. Much like our award-winning sister restaurant next door, The Winding Stair, we feel like we are custodians of something very special... a piece of history (James Joyce worked here, how unbelievable is that?!) and we must do it proud!     I went for Sunday lunch with my elderly parents at Gleesons on Sunday. The staff were friendly and attentive. There was a good choice on the menu to suit us all. The food was delicious. And I was delighted that my special request added on the Open Table App to be seated near a window as my mother has very poor eyesight was accommodated. All in all, we had a great experience and will be back.

    The waiting staff were brilliant and recommended a great wine to go with my T-Bone. This was cooked blue for me and it was perfect. I'd would highly recommend this restaurant and intend to be a frequent more often.

    Everything was perfect! The food was delicious, the place was cozy and the service was outstanding! Perfect for a special dinner. We went there to celebrate my boyfriends birthday and the waiters and waitress were so attentive and made sure it was memorable. Luna was super nice and helpful with her recommendations. We can’t wait to come back and try other dishes, they really were absolutely delightful (and so many vegetarian options!). Highly recommend!

    We had a wonderful meal here on a very damp cold Dublin night. Dishes were very tasty. Huge wine selection. No draught beers but lots of choice in bottles. A little pricey but not vastly dissimilar from more commercial restaurants, with a significantly higher quality. Staff were professional and attentive. A lovely evening all round!
