- SSuzanneBrighton •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoFabulous Saturday afternoon lunch at The George. The food was lovely, my husband said the pork belly was the best he’d ever eaten. Open fires, friendly attentive staff, just a perfect country pub.More infoGeorge InnPrice: Moderate• Pub• Rowland's Castle•4.6
- JJulianLondon •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAnother lovely experience, the staff and service were excellent, however I do feel its a little pricey. £5.50 for a bottle of water is a lot. Our go to place for special occasions, the food is always really good.More infoThe Ivy Asia, BrightonPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Asian• Brighton•4.3
- IInderjitCheshire •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoI think this venue is absolutely incredible. The staff are excellent. The service is great. The decor is stunning. It's clear alot has gone into this place. I was quite disappointed with the food to be honest. We had the salt and pepper tofu which was OK, the massaman lamb curry which was decent bit definitely lacked salt, the spicy tuna and salmon and avacado rolls which were normal, not far off M&S's ones. We also had a set menu which included some dumplings which were very tasty but the real let down was the salt and pepper beef, it was un edible because ot was so chewy and tough, it would not break down into smaller bits which then had to be spat back out into the plate. Had the quality of meat not been so poor, it would have been a tasty dish as the flavour was quite good. Just some constructive criticism fir the resruraunt is, use better quality meat, I don't think it's fair to pay £25 for a dish you spit out because you don't want to ingest as it can't be broken down. The food was disappointing but the experience and service and quality of the resturaunt was outstanding. I think I'll go back to give it another try and just try other dishes as the resturaunt itself is beautiful as was the attentiveness if the staff.More infoThe Ivy Asia, GuildfordPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Asian• Guildford•4.5
