Best Healthy Restaurants in Nicholasville

Four of us, drinks and appetizers. The oysters and sweet potato beignets were excellent but the star of the show was the cheese curds. All of our entrees were just right. Pork chop, shrimp and grits, chicken x 2. Delicious! Our waitress was a tad slow on the uptake but the manager checked on us and made everything go smoothly. Kasey is pretty amazing! Think Honeywood will be a favorite.

Brunch was good but average for the experience. I wouldn’t go back for a girls brunch or any experience, actually. Apparently, bottomless mimosas happen on Sundays but unfortunately, we went on Saturday. Go to Winchills for breakfast.

Our server Lucia was amazing. The meat carvers that went around would skip our table and the corner area several times throughout the evening. I’ve been to Texas de Brazil many times and in several locations and have never experienced where they would only go to certain tables and skip a whole section in the restaurant. I have always loved going to Texas de Brazil. I noticed that the gentleman server who was in the same section waiting on surrounding tables literally next to us would point to tables he served or call out table numbers and those were the only tables they would bring the meat carvers. I have always appreciated the establishment and this will not hinder me from going to this establishment. One thing I’d like to say is, the carvers should go to every table around the restaurant. Restaurant goers seek good service for the price someone pays to enjoy the experience.

Had a girls lunch with co workers who are also friends. Awesome food. Never had the broccoli cheese soup and club sandwich for lunch there, but glad I did. Soup was rich and thick, great flavor. The club sandwich was 4 huge sections with awesome tomatoes in between layers of ham, turkey and bacon. It’s hard to get good tasting tomatoes in December, but these delivered. The service was even better. Allie our server was the best ! Checked with us several times and very attentive. She was also so very friendly -always had drink refills, extra bread and to go boxes when we needed them. She was very busy with other tables, but was always there for us. She was wonderful.

We had our annual Christmas lunch as a family with trio appetizer, a family salad (split among 6 people), a few family meals. and a few individual meals. Service was excellent. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals.
