Located in historic Blagden Alley in D.C.'s Shaw neighborhood since 2015, The Dabney continues to pay tribute to the wonderful farmers, watermen, and purveyors of the mid-Atlantic region whom provide some of the best and most unique products in the country. My wife and I loved our visit to Zaytinya in DC! If you’re in downtown, you’ve got to check it out. They specialize in Greek, Lebanese, and Turkish food, and everything is meant to be shared, which makes it even more fun. The flavors were amazing, and the vibe was relaxed but still classy. Definitely try their mezze dishes—they’re so good!

The food was excellent and the mimosas were bottomless... what's not to like? :-) I loved the CG Benedict - two poached eggs on cheesy biscuits with thick, candied bacon. I usually don't like thick slab bacon, but this was outstanding! I also highly recommend the donuts. *swoon* Although the dining room was pretty full, it wasn't noisy and the tables were far enough apart to allow for conversation without broadcasting to everyone around you. The staff were helpful and friendly which made it a relaxed and fun event. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely be back. It was a great way to start the new year!
