- CCharlesHouston •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThis restaurant has a lot of history and the wait staff is happy and eager to tell you all about it! As far as service goes, this was sensational. Several of the staff work together to keep your drinks filled, your table cleared, and your needs met, even during full service. It's a wonderful establishment filled with amazing and exotic food. Of course, the world famous Rocky Mountain Oysters, but also elk, bison, quail, and Colorado lamb among others. Each dish was expertly crafted and full of rich natural flavor. Colorado lamb chops were very large and delicious. Drinks were amazing as was the history of the Buffalo Bill Cocktail! Desert is a must, Dutch Apple pie is as legendary in flavor as it is in story. Highly recommend this fun, unique, and exciting restaurant to anyone looking to try something historic, fun, and one-of-a-kind.More infoBuckhorn ExchangePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Central•4.7
- KKristenDenver / Colorado •4 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoRough start but otherwise good experience. The ambience is a rare find these days, particularly in Denver. Attentive waitress. Our waters were always full. Japanese bread for the table was outstanding. Ravioli starter was yummy but a bit cold, although unsure if that was intentional with the unique way it's served? The entrees were filling. Caicio e Pepe and pork belly were delicious. Our only complaint was lack of a hostess or anyone to seat us for several minutes. We were confused and actually left to get our jackets from our room to eat elsewhere, but went back and were promptly seated for a lovely dinner.More infoPalace ArmsPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown / LoDo•3.9
