Best Historic Restaurants in Avondale

10/10! The food was phenomenal from the burrata appetizer, to the gnocchi (added shrimp to it and it melted in my mouth) & pappardelle entrees, and the tiramisu for dessert! The service and ambiance were excellent. My partner and I left very pleased. We will be back 100%. Highly recommend!

Very understanding when we were delayed. Service perfect. They did their best to accommodate my daughter who is a picky eater. We ordered the cocio d pepe, steak, cevpi, squash, stragiatella, and dessert. All were delicious. Often great restaurants end with a whimper and serve a dessert that does not stand up to the rest of the meal. The udon and pistachio gelato are next level. I would happily order these again and likely will.

The food was excellent, service superb! I always enjoy dining at the 3 Arts Club Café; I hope to dine there again soon!

il Carciofo is BEAUTIFUL. It’s open and airy and has great classic Chicago Italian restaurant vibes but in a modern open space. The food is amazing. Classic dishes like carbonara and handmade pastas that are simple but done at an exceptionally high level and quality. It felt warm and homey but still so creative. Must gets: - Carciofo Alla Guida - maybe the coolest and unique preparation of artichokes I’ve ever had. Delicious and lemony and crispy. - Pesce Spada Crudo - Joe Flamm does crudo better than anyone and I’ll fight you on that - Rigatoni Alla Carbonara - the perfect al dente rigatoni with the most luxurious eggy guanciale carbonara Can’t wait to be back to try many, many more things on this menu.
