A steakhouse: city vibe, local heart. Our menu is hand selected to feature locally and ethically sourced ingredients. Our head chef and owner Jason Carron has revolutionized the New England restaurant community for two decades. With his acute attention to detail, Carron has helped struggling restaurants find their purpose and passion, restoring their place in the industry. Having given hope to hundreds of restaurants over the years, Carron is opening his first steakhouse this spring, bringing that same level of attention to his own restaurant. Every ingredient is well thought out to innovate the plate with not only something aesthetically pleasing, but more importantly delicious. His farm to table approach, ensures the highest level of ingredients go into every meal you enjoy. Please note our dress code: No gym wear, hooded sweatshirts, shorts, or ball caps are to be worn. All men are strongly encouraged to have a collar. No tank tops. Jackets are not required.

Our 3rd dining experience at Post 1917 and it continues to exceed our expectations. It is an energetic crowd that appreciates quality food and drinks. It is not inexpensive, but worth the value. The chicken parm plate is fit for 2 people and the surf & turf combo of filet/lobster tail was terrific. We will be back...

As a frequent diner at 80 Thoreau I was a little concerned about their menu changes. Last night we tried 4 “Smalls” and 1 “Medium” from their menu. Ian helped w our choices and Andrew selected a great wine to accompany pur varied menu. Yellow fin tuna crudo, Poached lobster in bisque foam, Bay scallops w green apple and Duck consommé w duck confit. Each serving was small but delicious. Then the Medium option was divided for us. Paccheri-Beef, pancetta, fennel w Parmigiano Reggiano finished our outstanding dining experience. Bravo 80 Thoreau!

I love Vintage Tea and Cake! It's a charming, warm and friendly setting for gathering with friends and enjoying a calm, delicious break over lovely finger sandwiches, scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam, and delicious sweet treats. Plus an extensive variety of teas and bubbles, if you wish! I warmly recommend Vintage Tea and Cake!
