Best Historic Restaurants in Oak Cliff / Bishop Arts

One of my favorite spots in Dallas. The people are great, and deliver above and beyond service. The food is excellent as well. The Crispy Fried Rice with Wagu is amazing, and considering Dallas has great steakhouses, the Prime NY Strip is one of the best steaks in town. The sushi is also fresh and excellent. Again all of this is made better with great people who make you feel special in a beautiful space.

Great food / drinks. Not upscale if that’s what you’re looking for.

One of my favorite restaurants in Dallas. Have been there at least 7 times. It’s great for out of town company. I have never been disappointed by the quality and variety of their fantastic menu and it offers selections for gluten free and vegan diners.

The day after valentines my girl friend and I had reservations for a date here. We were met at the door immediately and sat at our reserved table. Amazing. Our waitress was attentive and brought out or food and drinks at a reasonable time. The couples next to us got engaged and were celebrating and the atmosphere was just filled with good energy. Our drinks hit the spot and the food was great. The manager even stopped by each table to ensure his business was running well. We finished the night off with the banana bread pudding and it was a chefs kiss to a good night. The food: Lobster and shrimp with spinach dip and 2 French 75s. I’d rate all of the items a 5/5 My girlfriend got New York strip steak, the meat was perfectly cooked, buttery, and the sauce topping was good 4/5 Thank you to our waitress & hostess!
