We are early birds and essentially had the restaurant to ourselves for most of our dinner, but even as it grew more crowded, it didn’t impact our experience. Our server, Natasha, was attentive without being overbearing. And everything we chose to eat or drink was divine! I especially loved the decor and how each table seemed almost private despite the dining room being open. Would love to come back!More infoSaltbrick PrimePrice: Expensive• American• Branford•4.3
- GGayleChicago / Illinois •4 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoTwo people for lunch — Steak frites perfectly cooked (medium rare), fragrant and slightly spicy chimichurri sauce underneath and really tasty, well seasoned and crispy fries along with some simply dressed greens. A lovely plate! Knowledgeable server (Emily) patiently brought three tastes of red wine (I’m a novice with reds) till I chose. Dark, rich well brewed coffee and a very dense chocolate torte (with an apricot-lemon jam and whipped cream on the side. Very interesting menu and inventive desserts. Highly recommend. Easy parking nearby in the Crown Street garage or on the street. On the south side of The Green.More infoZINC New HavenPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• New Haven•4.7

The restaurant is located next to the Schubert in a historic 2 story gorgeous building. We arrived 15 minutes before they opened and were offered complimentary Prosecco while we waited. The staff were all top notch from start to finish. The dishes were all outstanding with the freshest ingredients available, the presentation was worthy of applause to the chef. The flavors of every dish were of the highest quality that were like heaven to the taste buds. Complimentary white asparagus, sorbet with shredded melon and French cookies completed what was an extraordinary experience. The Luke is an absolute must and should not be missed.More infoThe Luke Brasserie Bar & CafePrice: Moderate• Contemporary French / American• New Haven•4.8
