Best Historic Restaurants in Central Business District

Exceptional Service and a Memorable Dining Experience From the moment we arrived, our experience was exceptional. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and promptly seated. Our server, Chad, was knowledgeable, attentive, and provided excellent recommendations, particularly for appetizers and cocktails. The espresso martini was perfectly balanced and a standout start to the evening. For appetizers, we opted for the special lobster dip on crostini, which was rich, savory, and an excellent choice. The sushi roll, however, fell a bit short, as the rice was slightly mushy. For entrées, my friend ordered the Wagyu steak special and described it as “an experience in your mouth”—tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I had the lobster rolls, which, while enjoyable, could have benefited from a bit more seasoning. Our side dishes—Brussels sprouts and mac and cheese—were both delicious and well-executed. Dessert was a chocolate cake, which unfortunately was served cold and lacked moisture, making it the only real disappointment of the meal. Despite this minor drawback, the overall experience was fantastic. The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was inviting. I look forward to returning to try the Tomahawk steak. Highly recommended for a great dining experience!

We enjoyed the special 6 course Valentine dinner with wine pairing by Chef Black and it was exceptional. Our waiter made our experience very relaxing and enjoyable. He explained each course in detail and answered every question we had.

Our waiter, despite the fact that the day was difficult and there were a huge number of people, was polite, attentive and we received the best service that night! The food was excellent!

What a nice surprise dinner on a business trip to OKC. The Paseo area of town looked pretty cool and possibly nice to stroll had the weather been warmer. The restaurant itself was great. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Felt comfortable. The sheer curtains hanging at the table were sorta odd but looked odder in photos than reality. Not sure they were necessary but then I was with a coworker and not a date. Food was fantastic! Loved the mushroom soup! Whole mushrooms in a delicious, creamy soup! Octopus appetizer… WOW! Really nice. Very tender. Not rubbery or chewy at all. Nice size for two to share. My duck was perfect! Substituted fried green beans for the sautéed green beans and they were really good! (Sorry no food pics since I was with a coworker!)

Setting is a truly grand space - magnificent ceiling, marble columns, historic murals - within the old National Bank. Tellers nevertheless feels relaxed and special at the same time. Menu is mostly Italian cuisine, but also featured a delicious (and reasonably priced!) filet mignon. Short rib rigatoni was also very tasty! Service from our waiter, Ben, was professional and friendly! A great choice in OKC!!
