Chef Thierry has been cooking since age 13 in some of the finest restaurants in Europe & USA. His cuisine is influenced by many traditions; Patricia comes from the northern part of France near the Belgium border, while Thierry's origins are deeply rooted in the central provinces of the country.     Only one complaint- Hostesses were below standards for this fantastic restaurant. We got there at 5 for a 5:30 reservation. We were told to sit in bar or in bench until then- not pleasantly at all. We sat in car until 5:25 and came back in and they were seating walk ins? Poor organization and bad overall attitude to welcome patrons. However our servers and food were fantastic!!! We will return at exactly our reservation time!! Overall it was a perfect dinner for my 82md Birthday!!!

    We had a great experience at the George. We sat outside on the deck overlooking the Cape Fear River. We started with 2 delicious appetizers (crab dip and tuna)- our party of 5 each ordered a different entree and we were all very pleased with our meals. The desserts were great as well. The service was perfect. Our waitress was timely, nice and attentive. I would definitely recommend it to others.
