Best Historic Restaurants in Corte Madera

Historic John's did not disappoint! It was hard to pick from the menu because there were so many yummy options, but i chose halibut and my husband a filet. They were both delicious - quality cuts, cooked perfectly, served with great fresh veggie sides. Service was attentive but not annoying. We were heading to a show and their service was quick and efficient. It was a little loud, but in a fun, energetic way. Next time, we will sit upstairs where a live jazz singer was performing. Thanks for a delicious meal and dining experience, Historic John's! Marcus and Corey from 101.3 always rave about you and now I know why!

Love this restaurant. Such a wonderful menu & preparation, presentation, and service are almost flawless. My only complaint is when I wasn’t paying attention, my wonderful cocktail was removed while still a quarter full. I’d been looking forward to those last sips. Looking forward to returning many times in the future.

Scoma's always exceeds our expectations. We enjoyed our lunch sitting outside on the deck with an exquisite water view. The steamed clams with garlic was delicious followed by a great Casaer salad. We loved the lobster risotto. Our service was excellent. What a fine meal.

It was our 50th wedding anniversary and they provided us with a beautiful table by the windows to look out onto the bay. The food was very good and I highly recommend the clam chowder. It is the best. Our waiter was very friendly and funny and I would love to go back again to enjoy another evening. Thank you Trident for making this night for us so special.

Always enjoy this dining spot, great food and service. Only problem I had this visit was the staff and a couple patrons were using the emergency exit which was next our table! it was COLD. Often they would not close it completely finally commented and it slowed down use! Its an emergency exit!
