- PPatriciaLondon •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoMy wife and I last ate at Tavern on the Green 19 years ago, and it was great to bring our now grown up Children here during a family Christmas trip to New York from the UK. The Tavern is still charming, with good service and great (Christmassy) atmosphere. We had a selection of Burgers and Sandwiches between us and all were good, although a little big for a UK appetite! We really enjoyed our experience.More infoTavern on the GreenPrice: Expensive• American• Midtown West•4.7

Old school customer service=catering to the customer and they definitely did. I highly recommend everyone have, at least one fine dining experience in their life, and if possible, it should be at Smith & Wollensky. When you go, ask for Tony to be your wait staff. Exceptional service from Tony! He thought of everything we needed before we could even ask and his energy was great and very welcoming. I would actually put his service up there with the food. 10/10 across the board. Thank you for making my niece’s 25th birthday one to remember and thank you Tony for being an absolute gem! We can’t wait to visit again! Oh, and if you go, porterhouse is a MUST. Velvety and juicy, melt in your mouth, no need for any sauces or seasonings!More infoSmith & Wollensky - New YorkPrice: Expensive• American• Midtown East•4.5

We were all so impressed with the elegant ambiance, crystal chandeliers, superb waitstaff and service, delicious food prepared to perfection. And the best was a surprise birthday candle for dessert with a warm soft yummy chocolate chip cookie. We will definitely come back for another lovely experience.More infoRH Rooftop Restaurant New YorkPrice: Moderate• American• West Village•4.7
- DDavidVIPLondon •2 reviews4.0Dined 7 days agoMilling Room is a great spot for a date night meal. The ambiance and styling aim to impress which it did. The food is above average without going over the top in either presentation or price. Just watch out for the drink prices. The waiter up charged by 50% for a Hendrix martini, without informing, then tried to pass it off that I should have known the menu price was well liquor. Despite the blatant attempt at a rip off, I will be backMore infoThe Milling RoomPrice: Expensive• French / American• Upper West Side•4.4
