- VVickiVIPEdinburgh/Midlothian •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFrom arriving to leaving our experience was fantastic. Food lovely, drink fantastic, waiting staff attentive. We had our food and the staff then came to say they had reserved us seats in the bar where we continued to have a few drinks relaxed and chatted. Lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon coming up to Christmas.More infoAngels with BagpipesPrice: Expensive• Scottish• Old Town•4.6

- GGARYEdinburgh/Midlothian •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoMy wife and I had a glorious 5 star dining experience at the Canny Mans. We chose the Christmas lunch menu which was fabulous in every way, its presentation, quantity, quality of food, superb value and the overall service was perfection. Fizz to begin was very very good, the beetroot tart starter is something we said we could eat every day, it was stunning. Main course was mouth watering and hot which seems obvious but we have eaten in restaurants where the food is luke warm and then isnt enjoyable, but this was so good!. The cheese board rounded off the meal just right. Bravo Canny Mans and 5 stars all round !!!More infoThe Canny Man'sPrice: Moderate• Scottish• Morningside•4.7
- DDavidEdinburgh/Midlothian •4 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe booked last minute for lunch on 17 December and got a table at Cafe Royal for 1430 hours. We enjoyed sharing the sourdough with crab butter and then my wife had sun blushed tomato sandwich with avocado and rosemary tinged fries. I went for the classic fish and chips. House white wine was delicious. A very pleasant experience and an enjoyable way to spend an hour in the week before Christmas in the oldest oyster bar in Scotland!More infoCafe Royal - EdinburghPrice: Expensive• Continental• Edinburgh•4.3
