Ruta Oaxaca means “Road to Oaxaca,” a historic state in the southern part of Mexico. Mr. Castillo and his Partners are keenly focused on honoring Oaxacan culinary traditions, whose fame is derived in great part from its many varieties of moles. By legend, these ancient recipes are more than sauces, they are the very focus of the meal. A typical food love story. A boy meets a girl while eating pizza. He attends culinary school and open’s a pizza restaurant named after the girl. Thus bringing us to Emily! The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. Beyond the main event, the menu extends to include salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich). A dozen different steaks are on offer, but non-steak eaters will dine exceedingly well here.Butcher & Banker pays homage to the New Yorker Hotel’s storied history. The New Yorker opened in 1930 at the height of the Great Depression as the then largest hotel in the city. It has attracted a who’s who of entertainers and dignitaries from around the world, including Muhammad Ali, JFK, Joan Crawford and Nikola Tesla. Beneath the hotel, a bank vault and offices were occupied by the Manufacturers Trust Company until 1980. With the opening of Butcher & Banker, the public can see the vault for the first time in 37 years.

    Chez Fifi did not disappoint! We had an exceptional experience from the French martini to the chocolate mousse, each dish was better than the next. The dining room has a certain je ne sais quoi and made for a lively dinner. The service was great too!

    Such an incredible dining experience for Valentine’s Day last night! The five course tasting menu was delicious. So happy we added on the wine pairing option as well which complemented the tasting menu perfectly! The decor was beautiful from the candles and roses for centerpieces and throughout restaurant, immaculate decor with a great pianist curating such a romantic ambiance. I had such a great time and will definitely return back! 💞

    We had a Valentine's dinner at the Bayside White Castle. Very enjoyable, we brought a second couple with us this year-they were very happy with the experience as well-first time there! They had never expected the decorations for the Valentine's event. I've told multiple friends about this particular experience- they all want to go next year!
