Ryan took good care of us! Much appreciated. A little noisy in our section, but mainly because of one loud couple. Would love to see a better selection of wine by the glass for such a nice restaurant. There wasn’t even one California Chardonnay to choose from. Thank you, Carolyn Loew

We celebrated our birthdays and Valentine’s Day and it did not disappoint for special occasions. It was expensive, but the food was good.

I recently dined at Grunauer and had a wonderful experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere. I started with the lobster bisque, which was rich, creamy, and full of deep seafood flavors. It had a smooth texture with just the right balance of seasoning. Next, I tried the sweet potato soup, which was a pleasant surprise—velvety, slightly sweet, and well-spiced, making it a comforting and flavorful choice. For the main course, I had the salmon, which was perfectly cooked—moist on the inside with a beautifully crisp exterior. The seasoning complemented the natural flavor of the fish without overpowering it. The dish was well-plated and paired nicely with the sides. Overall, the service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff. Grunauer truly delivers on quality and flavor, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a refined yet hearty dining experience in Kansas City. I’ll definitely be returning!

Always a favorite time at the conductors club. The chocolate theme and drinks were amazing and was an intimate fun time for my husband and I. The staff is friendly and entertaining as well. Great time
