Friendly quick service, great food. Atmosphere is always fun

There is a great food variety that everyone with find something good to eat. They serve comfort food with a good variety of pastas, some curries, salads and other meat dishes. All the food that we ate that evening was great tasting and reasonably priced. They have a good drink menu with many beers on tap and bottled, ciders and a good selection of wine. The service was good and the food was delivered hot. It is a very large restaurant with ample seating and you do not feel like the tables are too close to each other. If you are in the area the Hothouse is worth visiting.

We come here every time we visit Toronto. The menu is small but everything we have ever tried is absolutely delicious! I tried the Italian lentil soup and would have ordered a second bowl if I had had room! It also has an extensive wine list. The room is elegant, understated, bright and quiet. The only downside is that, when they are not too busy, all of the staff descended on your table and it is a bit too much.

Our food was AMAZING and the service was impeccable. We were impressed by the vibes they were serving as well. Love the decor, service, and food. 5 stars!

One of the best dining experiences I have had. The food is exquisite but the atmosphere is not pretentious. Located in an old building with 100 year old floors, brick walls but white tablecloths and delicate wine glasses. Dinner is not inexpensive but chef provided an amuse bouche and the waiter suggested a different wine with a little tasting. Everything about this place is great. Service was very attentive but not stuffy. We loved watching the army at work in the kitchen assembling our courses. This restaurant is a destination place.
