Best Historic Restaurants in Lincoln Square

We loved Monterey! It’s a lovely restaurant conveniently located near lots of midtown attractions. The food and beverage presentations were impressive. We had the prime rib special and everything was cooked to perfection. The service was excellent. For dessert, the Bananas Foster was prepared table side. The presentation and taste were amazing. We can’t wait to return.

I love this place! Amazing service! So warm and friendly! The food is next level. They have no issue with my garlic allergy. They were able to accommodate all of our menu choices! Everything was delicious. The beet salad, the shrimp carpaccio, the giant veal chop - all to die for! The lemon tart for dessert was an amazing surprise! Crispy dots of merengue on top of a lemon tart! It's so nice to see a team work together with a smile to provide every guest with a heartwarming experience. Think old-world Italy with New York City sensibility and the finest quality of everything! I highly recommend!

Our dinner at the Russian Tea Restaurant was a mix of highs and lows. The food was undeniably delicious, showcasing rich flavors and excellent preparation. However, the kaviar tasting felt significantly overpriced for what was offered. Service was another weak spot—our server took an unusually long time to take our orders and came across as unfriendly at first, which put a damper on the experience. Despite these issues, the quality of the food redeemed the evening to some extent.

Beautiful restaurant, service was attentive , food was delicious and reasonable. The vibe is really good!!
