- VvalentiniLondon •31 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI finally managed to be free on a Sunday and I booked for the Sunday roast. I wanted to come for a long time but was never free. I must say it exceeded my expectations. I knew it was going to be good but it was not just good, it was magnificent. The service, the atmosphere, the buzz, and the food were just perfect. I started with the cod roe and padron peppers plus the bread and cultured butter. Then I had the ham, the beef brisket with all the trimmings, and a treacle tart to end what has been an absolutely perfect meal. I drunk excellent wines, a great white to go with the cod roe, then another for the ham, and a red to go with the brisket . The dessert was paired with Pol Roger and the incredibly nice sommelier made me taste a Marsala. They even gave me a salted caramel mini fudge to go with it. Amazing ! I must stress the service has been The best I had in a very long time. Everybody is competent, efficient, smiling, and they know what to recommend and how to make people feel good. I am truly impressed and can’t wait to go back. Thank you so much guys you are incredible !More infoThe Quality Chop HousePrice: Very Expensive• British• Farringdon•4.8

- NNigelLondon •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoEverything about this restaurant is excellent. The staff in particular are friendly and attentive. It is not a cheap place but you get what you pay for and for me the atmosphere and food make it more than worthwhile. Only small gripe is to automatically add service at 14.5% is wrong. That said if I have had good service I always tip 15% so I wasn’t unhappy to pay.More infoKettner’sPrice: Expensive• French• Leicester Square•4.6

- SSusanLondon •9 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoAbsolutely delightful and totally delicious food. Each dish was superb. We were a group of three and shared pickles, artichoke with ricotta, and burrata with raisins . Yummy. The mains we had were ravioli filled with pheasant, mushrooms and Marsala. Divine. I’d go back just for that. We shared a rhubarb trifle with honeycomb for dessert. Again, delicious. The service was calm and friendly. Unobtrusive. There was very low music playing so we could hear each other and chat for hours. The interior design was very English, reminding us of Andrew Edmund’s in town. We loved it. A bit pricey but I did not mind for this special occasion as it was all pretty wonderful.More infoCloth RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Traditional French• Farringdon•4.7
