Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We had a delightful Christmas afternoon tea, the food was sublime with so much effort put in to creating a fabulous Christmas setting on the top layer of cakes…. This is definitely a jewel in the crown and a hidden gem… we were all delighted with the service we were given by the lovely Manpreet… such a sweet young lady with impeccable manners…. Will definitely be returning soon and hopefully staying over to relish a well reviewed breakfast
