- JJanetNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoMy family and I have gone to THE STATION for many, many years. A girlfriend of mine had given me a 50 gift certificate from there for my August birthday. So, with my adult son & his wife we 3 ate there on a foggy, gloomy Saturday night. My son & I can rarely resist the delicious pasta bolognese and his wife got the hangar steak special. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, our great service and our conversation. They had a Station coffee at the end which they loved and I got a cafe latte. This place is always dependable for lunch or for dinner and its truly one of my very top favorites!More infoThe Station at Mountain LakesPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Mountain Lakes•4.9
- RRichardNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoFood was exceptional, as was the service -- and with it being Christmas Day, we were lucky to find such a restaurant open. For many reasons, it was a very special occasion, and Blue MOrl was the perfect place for it. We'll be back!More infoBlue MorelPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Morristown•3.8
- SSarahNew York City •22 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoHonestly, I don't know where the negative reviews I read on here came from. My husband and I just ate here this past week and it was every bit as good as it has always been. My standby for an appetizer, the egg-yolk ravioli was just as heavenly as it has always been. My lobster, shrimp and crepe entree was absolutely divine. My husband's veal was delicious! The hostess graciously moved us to a "better table" after we were seated (we didn't even ask) and the ambience was wonderful at both tables. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and funny. It was a wonderful evening and we can't wait to return.More infoScalini Fedeli - ChathamPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Chatham•4.6
- PPatriciaNew York City •31 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 20, 2024Seated on the upper level of the dining room we had a grand view of the Tiffany ceiling, and it was much less noisy than the main floor or the red dog. At the close of the meal we were serenaded by the wonderful Brynn Stanley and her pianist, and we spent a happy hour post meal listening to them perform holiday and jazz favorites. A great way to begin the last weekend before Christmas!More infoRod's Steak and Seafood GrillePrice: Expensive• Steak• Morristown•4.6
- JjaneNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 12, 2024We had a lovely lunch at the Thayer. The fried chicken was expertly seasoned and the best I've had. Crunchy where it should be and juicy and tender inside. The Cole slaw was just right. Great snap to the fries. The other dish was the Chicken Salad club. Hit every mark and totally enjoyed it. We also ordered the soup of the day and the only mishap was it was brought out not piping hot. A quick word to the waiter and the soup was retuned and the temperature was corrected. In fairness, most restaurants never serve piping hot soup, which they should. We had a view of the Hudson and the ambiance of the hotel and restaurant is old world elegance. The price was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. We will definitely go back. It would be a fabulous place to watch the autumn colors. Next time.More infoMacArthur's Restaurant at The Historic Thayer HotelPrice: Very Expensive• American• West Point•3.8
