- BBurtNew York City •44 reviews5.0Dined todayI have been to S&W many times and it has never disappointed. Our waiter, Art was the best waiter I have ever had there and I will ask for a seat in the future that he servers because he was just great. We had to wait a little bit longer then usual for our food to come but overall it was great.More infoSmith & Wollensky - New YorkPrice: Expensive• American• Midtown East•4.6
- AAmy JoPittsburgh / Western PA •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoOur waiter, Alessandro, was knowledgeable and friendly. He recommended a wonderful red to compliment our meal. The meal, from top to bottom, exceeded expectations. The entire staff were friendly and attentive. Whatever training the staff received was apparent and effective. Highly recommend!More infoThe Leopard at des ArtistesPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Upper West Side•4.6

- JjaneNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 12, 2024We had a lovely lunch at the Thayer. The fried chicken was expertly seasoned and the best I've had. Crunchy where it should be and juicy and tender inside. The Cole slaw was just right. Great snap to the fries. The other dish was the Chicken Salad club. Hit every mark and totally enjoyed it. We also ordered the soup of the day and the only mishap was it was brought out not piping hot. A quick word to the waiter and the soup was retuned and the temperature was corrected. In fairness, most restaurants never serve piping hot soup, which they should. We had a view of the Hudson and the ambiance of the hotel and restaurant is old world elegance. The price was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. We will definitely go back. It would be a fabulous place to watch the autumn colors. Next time.More infoMacArthur's Restaurant at The Historic Thayer HotelPrice: Very Expensive• American• West Point•3.8
