Johnny’s Downtown, opened in 1993, is similar to the original Johnny’s Bar on Fulton Road, featuring pasta, veal and fish. The setting, a refurbished 1860’s Warehouse District building, formerly a general store, is the drinking and dining spot of locals and business people alike. Everything was amazing as always. Our server, Joshua, was fantastic and the food was incredible. The tasting menu and wine pairings is always wonderful. We can’t recommend Dante enough!

Unfortunately, they did not see our reservation when we arrived and the hostess seemed very annoyed. She didn’t take us to the table. She just pointed. It was also the waiter’s first official day and he had not learned any of the specials or the desserts. So he just to out the book and read to us. Food was tasty though and the atmosphere is very nice.
