- JJoanVIPWashington, D.C. Area •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis was an Amazing experience!! It started snowing today - didn’t know for sure how much would stick. It turned out to be 4 inches. ;) We had a reservation and were the only guests. They stayed open for us and were so gracious! No one hurried us, in fact they took time to chat about several things. Even though they were closing as soon as we left! The food was very delicious - all the things we ordered. We live 2 blocks away and will share this with many people for exceptional service and food! 💞More infoIl PortoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Alexandria•4.5
- BBrettBaltimore / Maryland •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoAbove and beyond does not begin to describe the lengths the staff went to ensuring we had a wonderful experience. Our every need was met immediately and precisely. The food was exquisite throughout every course, and the wine selection was tailored and delicious. It was truly a wonderful dining experience and I would highly recommend a visit.More infoBistro L'HermitagePrice: Expensive• French• Woodbridge•4.9
- CChristinaWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoMy husband and I took our twelve year old daughter and all three of us really enjoyed it. We had the duck, the filet, and the crab mac and cheese. All three dishes were outstanding! The tables are close making it easy to overhear if voices get too loud but I didn't find it distracting at all. The staff was wonderful all stopping to assist or clear our table even if they weren't our main server. The only SMALL issue was it being so cold the entire time. I still say five stars because there wasn't much staff could do. The tables were close to the door so every time the large door opened we were hit with a cold blast. A large (20+) group of men came in and the door was open for longer than maybe it needed to be. Aside from that there was nothing we would change and we will be back!More infoGadsby's TavernPrice: Moderate• American• Alexandria•4.3
- CCarrieWashington, D.C. Area •8 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 3, 2025My husband and I are frequent patrons, but brought some friends that had never been. They loved everything about Virtue! I got the pan seared salmon and OMG the creamy quinoa was incredible…and so was everything else, of course. Everyone else got something different: grilled duck, chicken quesadilla, and then a French dip sandwich (I think?) - all were so impressed.More infoVirtue Feed & GrainPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Alexandria•4.6
- MMargueriteWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 31, 2025The food and service were excellent. New York strip steak was prepared to my request as medium doneness. And the servings of both the steak and green vegetable was generous. The appetizer crab soup was also well seasoned and served at an appropriate hot temperature. Given the cold and rainy weather I would have preferred a table Not next to a window with a draft. However, the wait staff was were attentive and we were not rushed out after we had finished our meal.More infoMount Vernon Inn RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Alexandria•4.5
