Excellent experience at Joni. Service was impecable! They treated us to complimentary champagne and dessert for bday celebration as well.

Every dish was truly delicious. Full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The sauces were particularly brilliant - not an easy goal to achieve. Congrats to the Chef Daniele Corona for the meal and to the staff for looking after us so well. I highly recommend the going for the Signature tasting menu combined with the premium wine pairings - well worth the step up in price. Decor designed by owner Nick Di Donato's wife Nadia is gorgeous and eye catching. My best friend Deborah Scott was the original architect on the renovation when it was a bank building and she opened up three floors to allow the drama of a very high ceiling which has been kept to full effect.

The food was excellent, though we had to send our veggies back as they were not warm. They came back hot. Our waiter Michael was attentive and very professional and eager to please. It was a great place to have a birthday dinner. I would’ve liked to have known that parking is free after 5 o’clock as I spent $10 needlessly.

As always, Sassafras delivered. We did not try the Winterllcious menu as we were looking for a lighter lunch. However, both our dishes were excellent. Sassafras remains my go to restaurant for delicious meals, great atmosphere and excellent service.

It was great having Chef Bennet come out and introduce us to a dish. U can feel that the tasting menu is coming from Chef Bennett's Root (South Africa). The menu was very earthy and exciting from dish to dish. The Juice pairing that was offered was great as well.
