- MMarkvipDenver / Colorado •10 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOur Thanksgiving meal was excellent. My husband got the 3 course meal. He had the butternut squash soup for the appetizer, and turkey with dressing and sweet potato casserole as his main, and the fruit cobbler for dessert. I got 4 appetizers as my meal--the dip duo with pimento cheese and crab dip, fried green tomatoes, crab cake and the fry basket with shrimp and veggies. We each had some of everything we ordered and everything was extraordinarily tasty. I was definitely appreciative of being able to order the 4 appetizers as my entree as last year the waiter told us they couldn't do it. Our waiter Rick was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is great with a different Christmas tree in each area and a cozy fire going in the fireplace at the front entrance. We were made to feel welcome as we entered and wished a Happy Thanksgiving as we left. It was a busy day for them, but the service was. This is our 3rd Thanksgiving here, and we plan on coming again next year.More infoOld Vinings InnPrice: Expensive• Regional American (Southern)• Vinings•4.7
- LLeslieNashville •64 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoTry By George, it's a quiet and refined dining experience. The Candler is a lovely hotel and By George is an excellent compliment to any stay. After a long day of driving in holiday traffic, my friend and I were ready to unwind. For medical reasons, we weren't drinking and the bartender made us delicious virgin mojitos. The crab cake and house salad with pickled peaches were perfect starters. I love the bolognese and the thought is a treat!More infoBy George - AtlantaPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown•4.5

We were seated in the beautiful dining room, nice ambiance and decor, attractive lighting! Nick was our server and he was the best! Knowledgeable, articulate, funny, and always there at the right times! He made our dining experience so enjoyable! Salads were prepared well, Steaks, Chicken, Lobster Risotto all cooked to perfection! Nice presentation of sides - lots of Potato selections to choose from as well as other options to complement the Meal. My stepsons were in town and it was everyone’s first time ever going to Atlanta and I wanted to give them the best experience and you guys hit it out of the park. I’m trying to recall our servers name. She was wonderful and very accommodating, super sweet and it was only her second day and she did amazing. Me and my husband are definitely coming back for date night when we get a chance. More info9 Mile StationPrice: Moderate• American• Midtown•4.6

We came to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday, and the evening couldn’t have been more perfect. The atmosphere is just magical—warm, inviting, and the kind of place where you instantly feel at ease. The setting by the river is breathtaking and added such a special touch to the night. A huge shoutout to Patricia, our amazing waiter! She was everything you could hope for—attentive, super knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely fun. She kept us laughing all evening and made the entire experience feel so personal and memorable. The food was next-level amazing. Every dish was a work of art, both in how it looked and how it tasted. You can tell the chef puts so much heart and creativity into every bite. Honestly, it’s some of the best food we’ve ever had. Thank you, Canoe, for making my girlfriend’s birthday celebration so special. We’ll absolutely be back! If you’re looking for a place that delivers incredible food, amazing service, and an unforgettable vibe, this is it.More infoCanoePrice: Expensive• American• Vinings•4.8
