Best Historic Restaurants in Winnipeg

We’ve always enjoyed the food at Cibo and this visit was no different. Delicious and timely. The service was excellent too!

My wife and I had a very enjoyable evening at the Peasant Cookery. Our server was very attentive and answered our questions about the menu etc. As well, it was a Tuesday evening and it was 1/2 price wine night which was perfect. The meal was served hot and was delicious. We enjoyed the chicken and peasant pie as well as the ribs appetizer which was incredible. I would recommend dining at this historic Winnipeg landmark.

My husband and I both had the fish and chips. The portions were generous and the food was served quickly and was good and hot. We would definitely order that again.

The food was excellent. The service was delightful. Great waiter, very attentive, very friendly. Specifically chose the restaurant and time so it wasn’t too loud and didn’t disappoint. Overall, we all had a fabulous time and will go back.

My husband and I went to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and it was the best choice we could have made. When we got to our table we were greeted with a branded card, signed by the staff. Danny was an excellent server and treated us so well. Moreover, we got to cheers to our love with two glasses of Prosecco on the house! Our outfits were not wasted! My husband said it was the best meal he had had in ages and I totally agree! Thank you 529!
