- CChristineHampshire •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoFirst time of going to Shanghai 1814 and I highly recommend it .. beautiful decor, immaculately clean, wonderful ambience, very pleasant, professional, friendly staff, and the food (we had the lunch menu) was the best I’ve tasted. Fantastic cocktails too. I feel you can tell the cleanliness of a restaurant by the toilets and I have to say they were also immaculate, & so pretty, as good as any 5* hotel. All in all, I would say go and see for yourselves, you won’t be disappointed.More infoShanghai 1814Price: Very Expensive• Shanghainese• Southampton•4.7
- JJenniferVIPNew York City •29 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 2, 2025The restaurant decor was modern with a hint of nautical so immediately we appreciated the thought put into the overall dining experience. The waitstaff were polite, attentive and friendly. We enjoyed a variety of small plates including the nigiri (the salmon was outstanding), tuna tataki, Australian sliced steak, and miso cod. The special sea bream with Asian slaw and new potatoes was also excellent. To our surprise, a new favorite cocktail is now the lychee and cucumber martini.More infoSmoking Lobster CowesPrice: Expensive• Pan-Asian• Cowes•4.7
