The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to. Alongside our a la carte menu we have a bar snack menu that not only runs all day, everyday but also contains such pub classics. We finally got round to trying this restaurant having lived opposite for FOUR YEARS! The staff are so attentive and inviting, we were greeted with two glasses of Prosecco as we were celebrating an anniversary. We ate meatballs, fritto misto, carbonara and pizza - all very very good! The pizza in particular was lovely. A nice thin crisp base and delicious sauce. We also shared a tiramisu - oh my goodness! One of the best. It got a bit noisy but the restaurant was full, as always, and it didn’t take away from our experience. 10/10, will absolutely be coming back.

Absolutely incredible evening at Smoke & Salt. The food was so delicious, each and every dish cooked perfect with so many gorgeous flavours. The service was so great as well, everyone was so accommodating and attentive throughout. Could not recommend enough and we will definitely be back again and again!
