- EEileenSouth Wales •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoFood really exceptional with a good choice from the winter set menu. The three of us had separate main and desserts and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Un fortunately it was an hour before we were able to eat as the waitress did not come to collect our order and had to reminded after half an hour of needless waitingMore infoThe Brook BistroPrice: Moderate• Modern European• Cardiff•4.8
- EElinSouth Wales •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThe food was amazing! I had butternut squash ravioli with Parmesan (the Parmesan was vegetarian which is something that most restaurants don’t provide). My partner and son both had steak and said it was one of the best they had ever had. Dessert (pancakes) were delicious too. The waiter Zac was excellent. Looking forward to our next visit.More infoButterflies Bar & KitchenPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Pontypool•4.8
- KKatieSouth Wales •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoLove, love, LOVE this place. Seriously, don’t even bother going anywhere else ever again – why would you when this gem exists? I’ve been here three times in the last five weeks. Three. That’s not dining out; that’s a committed relationship. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by Andrew – the unofficial mayor of Silures. This man is a delight. Charming, funny, and the kind of accommodating that makes you feel like royalty without the awkward bowing. If Silures had a spirit animal, it’d be Andrew. The service? Flawless. The staff have this magic ability to know what you need before you even know you need it. They’re there when you want them and invisible when you don’t – it’s like they’ve cracked some secret code of perfect service. And the knowledge? Ask them anything about the menu, and you’ll get a MasterChef-worthy breakdown. Need a wine pairing? Done. Unsure about a dish? Sorted. They know their stuff, and they genuinely care about your experience. Now, the food. The food! It’s incredible. Every bite is a revelation, but not in that “tiny portions on a huge plate” kind of way. It’s the perfect balance – enough to feel satisfied without feeling like you need to lie down in a dark room afterward. They’ve nailed it. And the ambience? It’s a fine dining restaurant without any of the arrogance. It’s sophisticated yet welcoming, elegant yet completely unpretentious. You can relax here, which isn’t always the case in fancy places. Silures is simply wonderful. Go once, and you’ll never want to go anywhere else again. Trust me, I would know – I’m already planning visit number four.More infoSiluresPrice: Expensive• Modern European• Cardiff•4.8

We had the Premium tasting menu and enjoy every mouthful. Heini was our server and was very attentive. Thanks also for the Happy Anniversary Mochi and chocolate.More infoThe Ivy Asia, CardiffPrice: Moderate• Asian• Cardiff•4.5
