Masuya Restaurant is located in a building, which has been designated as a cultural asset, on O’Connell Street in Sydney. This is the same place as the office of Kanematsu Gosho, the pioneer of Australia – Japan trades, was situated in 1980.     Our server, Kevin, was amazing. The kitchen was a little slow- but the food and drinks were incredible and I prefer a leisurely dinner to feeling rushed. We each had steak, which was delicious and perfectly cooked and the sides were great as well.

    Loved this place!!! We were staying next door and had walked past so many times do not let its demure facade fool you the food was absolutely outstanding!! All the staff were excellent, one of the girls was exceptionally attentive and most definitely seemed like she had been here longer than 2 weeks. We will recommend to anyone coming to Sydney

    From the moment we entered "Neptune's Grotto" I knew we were in for a splendid evening. And we weren't disappointed. I am a big fan of a short Menu where you want to try everything on offer. And this is exactly what was displayed. The food was superb and the extensive Wine List was deletable. Heavily leaning on Italian Wines -and rightly so - there was something for every price range. The food was superb, the décor romantic and the whole experience made me sad we had to leave. But we will be returning.
