Our friend’s haddock dish came cold. They immediately replaced it and to make up for the blip, gave us 2 desserts on the house. Make sure to read your bill carefully as they accidentally charged us for the two desserts but once brought to the manager’s attention, he immediately corrected it. Mistakes happen and smart business people/restaurants know how to keep their customers satisfied and wanting to come back. I applaud Moderne Barn for their smart hospitality.More infoModerne BarnPrice: Moderate• Unspecified• Armonk•4.6

- JJamesNew York City •2 reviews4.0Dined 5 days agoWe had 8:30 reservations and were the last to leave on a snowy night and never felt rushed Our server was gracious and attentive without being overly solicitous. We all had fish, steelhead and branzino and they were superb. The ceaser salad was disappointing as it was too dry and unfortunately all four of has had it as a starter. We had dessert and all were quite good. There was no bread or amuse bouche so nothing that spoke to who the restaurant was. I would say it was a good dinner but not amazing or inventive. It was a tad overpriced but I likely wouldn’t have noticed if there had been more of the chef innovation or voice in the experienceMore infoElm RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• New Canaan•4.8
