- AAyanaVIPWashington, D.C. Area •22 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoFilomena celebrates every holiday with exuberance! Christmas did not disappoint. The decorations are over the top as they do with every holiday!!! I have been here three times now, experienced three holiday themes and my third meal. Today I had the Agnolotti Alla Carbonara and added chicken and for dessert Filomena Cannoli. Sooooo delicious! I have never been disappointed by the food, service or portion sizes when I visit. Today was no different! Chef’s Kiss 😘More infoFilomena RistorantePrice: Expensive• Italian• Georgetown•4.8

My other observation is after we received our food the waitress never came back to check to make sure everything was good with our food or if we needed anything else. I find that in some restaurants once the 20% gratuity is already included for the party they don’t care much about checking in on the group. The food item I had was okay (Greek Omelet) but I would try something different if I made another visit.More infoGatsbyPrice: Moderate• American• Navy Yard•4.4

We had baba ghannouge, fries with labneh, smoked beet salad, mujadara, imam bayildi, garides me anitho, lamb baharat and lamb kelftiko. Every single dish had a perfectly- balanced complexity of flavors that made want to sing. The food has inspired me to attempt some of these dishes at home.More infoZaytinya - DCPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Penn Quarter•4.7
- CCynthiaWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoChristmas Eve dinner at OEG is a 24-year tradition for my daughter and me. As always, the food was awesome. My daughter and I were quite surprised and disappointed by the lackluster greeting and overall experience when we walked in. The word "dismissive" comes to mind. Because our previous experiences were fabulous, I will look at this visit as a "one-off" one. Merry Christmas and a Happy 2025!!!More infoOld Ebbitt GrillPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown•4.8

This vibrant spot featured fresh, well-prepared sushi and an array of American and Italian selections. Every dish we selected was excellent. Though the place was packed and the noise level was predictably high, I had requested a quiet table when reserving and we were seated in a private booth complete with a door and coat hooks - the closest thing to our own dining room. The star of the evening was was our server Brian S. He was cheerful, informative, professional, welcoming, and everything one wants to insure a good experience when dining out. Kudos to The Hamilton - everyone got everything right!More infoThe HamiltonPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown•4.7
