Best Hot Spot Restaurants in Merrick Park

A lovely experience on Valentine's Day which can be quite hectic and noisy in some restaurants. The hostess seated us immediately at a nice table by the window. Service was prompt; water, then warm rolls with a nice chimichurri sauce. Pablo, the waiter, took our drink orders right away; the manager, Jorge, checked at our table two times during the evening. The salad was very generous, enough for three of us. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the butternut squash soup. Our entrees were perfect. The excellent service by Pablo continued throughout the meal. The valet service was perfect. It can be challenging to park in Coral Gables so it was an appreciated amenity. We will definitely return.

The tasting menu was delicious. each course was well explained and very much enjoyed. The scallop crudo was a surprise standout dish. We will return to try the legendary duck! Wonderful service from the entire staff.

We made a reservation for Monday night. The dining room was mostly empty, so there were plenty of tables right on the water. It's an amazing experience to sit there and watch the boats go by so close. We had martinis with all those stuffed with blue cheese because that's what she likes. We also had a Kasserie cheese appetizer, which they flambé at the table that was excellent. This is a great place to go with a date

Total experience is consistently amazing. The pastrami egg roll is the best appetizer anywhere.

Bulla in the Gables is a cool place for date night or dinner with friends. Tapas are great, we were also offered a complimentary key lime martini. It was so good. Our waitress, Carolina, was super nice and friendly. All our food came out at the right time and they were super busy. Always enjoy time at Bulla.
