- FFrankVIPSan Diego •14 reviews5.0Dined todayRobert was an amazing server! He knew his stuff and was extremely professional but also very entertaining and funny. The meatball and polenta appetizer was delicious. As was the focaccia. My pork tomahawk was stellar. Huge portion too. Super tender and succulent. The burrata and eggplant pizza was super good too. Really nice dining room and a great wine shop setting. Definitely noisy.More infoCUCINA urbanaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Banker's Hill•4.8
- CCarolSan Diego •25 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe enjoyed a wonderful fun meal that was well prepared by our chef who was engagingly polite and friendly. He incorporated the kids into his magic preparations and was extremely polite. Our server was also excellent and stayed on top of our refills and overall service. Thank you for a special dinner for our family.More infoBenihana - San Diego, CAPrice: Moderate• Japanese• Mission Valley•4
- JJeffSan Diego •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis was my first time at Mr A’s and giving full accolades. The service was as good as it gets. Rory is a veteran server with an extensive knowledge of wine, food and decorum. The whole staff did a wonder job as well. Liked the signature Old Fashion and the wine that Rory recommended. We had oysters, caviar and the lobster fritters to start. The baguette was warm and a great complement to the starters. The entrees were all loved. I had the rack of lamb that was perfectly cooked medium rare with an amazing white bean provencal. There were many other things we would have ordered. For your special occasion (this was my daughter’s birthday), this is the place! Bravo Mr A’sMore infoMister A'sPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Downtown / Gaslamp•4.8

- KKathleenPhoenix / Arizona •5 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 25, 2024Simply put, one of the best meals I have had the privilege of enjoying! Delightful server, Calvin, was very in tune with the timing of our meal and our needs. The fixed menu was perfect for Christmas Eve, as it kept the meal flowing and decision-making to a minimum. Every course was delectable from the scallop crudo, the creamed mushrooms, and the sea bass, to the date cake with walnut ice cream! Mezcal hibiscus cocktail was creative and tasty, as well! I will definitely be back!More infoHerb & WoodPrice: Expensive• Californian• Little Italy•4.6
