Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Albany Park

Always an incredible dining experience, the food and service are so good. The downside is the cramped, noisy atmosphere.

We have had dinner at Eden and enjoyed it. Checked out the brunch menu on line and there was a lot there to choose from. Friendly and professional staff, our server was fun. Coffee and tea were great. Between the tree of us we did the avocado toast, breakfast sandwich and farmed omelet plus a fruit cup. Their fruit cup should not be missed, variety, presentation, size and inclusion of mint leaves, a real winner. All the main dishes were strong offerings. Add a nice bright room and tons of parking, no wonder why it was nearly full when we finished up.

Overall really excellent. Only hiccup, my fiancée ordered an old fashioned twice, the second time around I don’t think they gave him an old fashioned, maybe just a simple scotch or bourbon. He only drinks old fashions and whatever they gave him the second time around was not it. This was after our entree and we didn’t want to be bothersome so we left without saying anything, that’s probably also our fault on our end.

Atmosphere was nice. We had early reservations (4p) and a party of 4. Because of how fast the restaurant filled up, I would have preferred a regular table over a corner booth because there was a small table for 2 right next to us that was occupied and if you needed to get up, you couldn't help but interrupt them and hope to not bump their table. The drinks, appetizers and dinner were all delicious (I would suggest the filet). Our server was wonderful and accommodating to any requests. We would definitely return.

My first time dining at Daisies and wanted to belatedly celebrate my birthday with friends. From the beginning the food, service, and overall vibes were amazing! Our server Alberto also made my bday extra special. Loved the fritto misto, gooey butter cake, and the truffle ravioli. Will definitely be dining again when I'm back in town!
