Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Alpine

Fantastic food from start to finish. Definitely get the flank steak if you like heavily seasoned and super flavorful steak. The Ribeye was good as well, but the Flank Steak felt like a signature dish.

Excellent food and service. My wife and I were celebrating our35th anniversary. Highly recommend the Marine Room. Been going there over 40years.

This was my first time at Mr A’s and giving full accolades. The service was as good as it gets. Rory is a veteran server with an extensive knowledge of wine, food and decorum. The whole staff did a wonder job as well. Liked the signature Old Fashion and the wine that Rory recommended. We had oysters, caviar and the lobster fritters to start. The baguette was warm and a great complement to the starters. The entrees were all loved. I had the rack of lamb that was perfectly cooked medium rare with an amazing white bean provencal. This was our second visit in as many months, and that first meal was not an outlier. Both visits were outstanding in all aspects, food, service, ambience, noise level. Thanks to the entire crew and managers!

Simply put, one of the best meals I have had the privilege of enjoying! Delightful server, Calvin, was very in tune with the timing of our meal and our needs. The fixed menu was perfect for Christmas Eve, as it kept the meal flowing and decision-making to a minimum. Every course was delectable from the scallop crudo, the creamed mushrooms, and the sea bass, to the date cake with walnut ice cream! Mezcal hibiscus cocktail was creative and tasty, as well! I will definitely be back!
