Everything was amazing, as always! Emma rocked the bar, food was delicious, vibes were on point, and met some great people! I can't recommend this spot enough!

Meal: onion soup, catch of the day, crème brûlée. Vodka up with olives / wine The onion soup was glorious. The flavor was . The seabreame and veggies was so yummy. The fish was thick and meaty. The flavors were light and the veggies were cooked just enough with a perfect crunch. Paired with the beaujolais villages The crème brûlée: perfection. The bartender(s) were amazing and knowledgeable, very kind and attended to us. The live music was perfect background noise to drown out the loud tourists. Although it’s a touristy destination, the food was masterful and did not disappoint. Probably our favorite meal of the trip.

I don't have enough words to describe how amazing the whole experience was. From the manager, Demetrios, to the waiter, Jeremy, and even the front desk hostess - everyone was beyond kind, professional, and so welcoming. The food was unreal, the atmosphere was perfect, and I wouldn't change a thing. Definitely one of the best culinary experiences I've had with the most amazing staff and environment. So much love for this place and coming here every time when I visit from NYC. Perfect for casual drinks/snacks or a special life event :)

I’ve celebrated many birthdays at Montreal, but this experience was absolutely the best! From the food to the service, everything was impeccable, and I can’t praise it highly enough! A special shout-out to our server, Thomas, who took the dining experience to the next level. He patiently walked me through the menu, helping me understand each dish clearly. His service was incredibly thoughtful, polite, and attentive. He knew how to engage with guests, offering warm greetings and making us feel truly welcomed. It’s clear that he has a genuine passion for his work, and it truly shows. After the meal, my friend and I were chatting, and we both agreed: Mont Lau deserves a Michelin-star-level rating. The quality of the food, the ambiance, and especially Thomas’s service were all exceptional. Please pass along my heartfelt thanks to Thomas—he made the entire experience unforgettable! I will absolutely return and will recommend this place to all my friends and family. In fact, I’m even considering staying at the hotel next time—it’s that good!
