Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Clarendon Hills

Good good and service. But then will they get rid of that ridiculous 3%. What an embarrassment.

Our dinner was delicious as always and the whole restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Keep up the good work!

We were celebrating the holidays with some wonderful friends. Our server was Suzanne who was a joy, extremely friendly. Unfortunately, our friend’s steak was over salted, it did not taste good. Suzanne noticed that he wasn’t eating and questioned him. She immediately took the steak back and had a new one prepared. She was kind enough to not charge us for our desserts or my friends glass of wine. 

This has become our new Christmas Eve tradition! From the moment we walked in, the festive atmosphere was absolutely enchanting, with stunning Christmas decorations that added such a warm, cozy touch. The food was nothing short of spectacular—each dish was beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The service was impeccable as well; our server was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It's rare to find a place that excels in every area, but the Colonial Room at the Drake in Oakbrook truly does. Whether you're here for a holiday gathering or just a special meal, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

Our server, Emma was prompt, but not pushy. She was extremely calm despite the busy night. We had casual food in a casual setting and it was just perfect for a couple of days before Christmas. The Ajhi tuna sandwich and salad were both wonderful, the shrimp Poboy Drew rave reviews, and the chicken sandwich pleased the person who ordered it. A good bottle of Malbec, and we were all very happy.
