Café Napoli is a family owned restaurant, established in 1989 by Tony and Kathy Pietoso. Quickly becoming a success, they moved the small basement restaurant to a larger location at the corner of Forsyth and Bemiston in the heart of Clayton. In 2003, sons Ande and Kye expanded their family restaurant by adding Bar Napoli, a swank cocktail lounge. A few years later, Napoli Reserve was added onto Bar Napoli allowing for private event space and an additional bar and lounge for the weekends. After years of a flourishing business, Kathy and Tony decided to take their ventures West to Town and Country where they opened their second location, Napoli2, managed by Ande. My wife and I had a very enjoyable dinner at Bristol’s, celebrating my wife’s birthday. We were initially seated close to an overhead vent that started pumping cold air on us after we sat down. Fortunately, the hostess re-seated us and the new location was very comfortable. A very nice dining experience overall.

We had an amazing experience. The waiter (Alexis) was so nice, she made it such a pleasant evening. She asked if we were dinning for a special occasion and we explained it was a farewell dinner as our sister in law was visiting from Spain and going back this week-end. To our surprise, when the chocolate fondue came, she brought my sister in law a gift of chocolate covered strawberries with a plate with a good luck message. It was such a special gesture, not expected. All the servers were amazing as well. This is now a annual tradition we have every year as winter break and family visits come to an end.
