Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Fuquay-Varina

What a pleasant brunch! We were seated right away with our reservation and our server greeted us immediately. He provided superior, polite service our entire meal. The food was top notch! The fried green tomatoes were a hit! Everything we had was really good, and at a very reasonable price. Can’t wait to go back!

Rey’s did not disappoint again tonight. We’ve been several times, and we keep returning because the food and service is exceptional. I had the 8 oz filet, and my husband had the 16 oz ribeye. Both were cooked to perfection. The lobster mac and cheese is always our favorite side. Lots of lobster tonight. I ordered the Black Beauty for a cocktail (first time), and it was delicious.

This was Valentine's dinner for my wife and I. Our waiter was very personable and gave us the right amount of attention for us to feel well served without being overbearing. He was humorous without coming across as feeding us canned responses. The food was excellent and served in a very timely manner. We did not feel rushed at all even though the restaurant was very busy. The waiter even helped me out with a "gift" for my wife. I fell (again) for the "let's not get each other anything for Valentines day" rouse from my wife. She had surprised me when I got home from work with a card and a bar of her favorite chocolate from her secret stash. I had nothing to give in return (again, you'd think I'd have figured this out after the past three years of this rouse). Since we were on our way out to Irregardless and last year's last minute gift of windshield wiper blades apparently didn't adequately convey my undying love for my lovely and tolerant wife, I felt the dinner might have a shadow of disappointment hanging over it. Luckily, I mentioned this to our waiter and he brought me a little box of candy hearts that I tried to pass off as a sentiment of my deep and forever love for the woman of my dreams. She saw right through it but it did put a smile on her face. Thank you Irregardless for a great dining experience!

We drove an hour to enjoy our Valentines dinner here and had a fantastic time. The setting was quiet and upscale. The food was amazing and everyone who helped us was friendly and professional. Our main server, Matthew, did his job to perfection. He was friendly, helpful and patient. I saw him watching us as he made his way around the room helping other diners, then approached us when he sensed we needed something, were ready to make our next order, or prepare the food we had not finished to take home. Third visit made us want to return more frequently. Thanks to Rem, Matthew and the whole tan for making this a memorable experience!

We had a wonderful time at dinner the night before Valentines Day. Our waiter took care of us and the food was impeccable as always. We enjoy the understated atmosphere and it all together made for a great meal.
